Wing Parish Council is delighted to announce that we have a new village sign – thanks to the skill and community spirit of local craftsman Joe Hunter.
Mr Joe Hunter and Mrs Judy Hunter presented the new village sign to Wing Parish Council in the Community Library on Tuesday, 17 October.
Joe is pictured here at the handover with the Chair of Wing Parish Council, Lynn Stuart.
Joe volunteered to craft the new sign after the last one was damaged by Storm Doris, which battered the village on February 23, 2017.
The new sign will be on display in the Community Library at Wing Village Hall until the end of October.
